Mr. Ajay Porwal began his career in 1977 as an assistant engineer at Grasim Industries, Nagda, on a 2 x 16.5 MW thermal power plant. He then joined Crompton Greaves as a marketing engineer for EHV transformers and HT breakers supplied to MPSEB, and later served as Director of Luminaires and Switchgears (India) Ltd, Indore, on the design, supply, installation and commissioning of 220/132/33/11 kV substations. He then turned to consultancy and founded Electricity No Problem in 2002.
He has appeared before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Electricity Ombudsman, Madhya Pradesh.
Memberships: ISLE, CII, FICCI and Pithampur Audhyogik Sangathan (PAS).
